Diceburg is a dice game. It collects what it needs to run a game and a rating, and nothing else. There is no advertising, no analytics and no third-party tracking of any kind.
What is stored when you play without an account
Nothing leaves your phone. Games against the computer and split-screen games — the scores, the turn history, the players’ names — are written to your device’s local storage and are never sent anywhere. Deleting the app deletes them.
What is stored if you create an account
- Your username and a hash of your password. Passwords are never stored as typed.
- A placeholder email address derived from your username. Diceburg does not ask for a real one and never sends email.
- Your chosen avatar, your rating, your win/loss record and games played.
- The players you follow.
- For games played online: each turn taken, who took it and when, so both phones can agree on the score and so a rating can be explained.
- The time you were last active, used only to show whether you are around for a game.
What is shared
Your username, avatar, rating and record are visible to other players — that is what a leaderboard and an opponent list are. Nothing else is shared with anyone, and nothing is ever sold.
Deleting your account
Open You → Delete account. Your account, rating, record, follows and sessions are permanently removed. Games you already played remain in your opponents’ history, because they are their games too — your seat in them is left unnamed and no longer points at you.
Children
Diceburg is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their information.
